FAQ's

Synthetic roofing offers several advantages over traditional materials. These include superior durability, resistance to UV damage, impact resistance, and often a longer lifespan. Additionally, synthetic roofing is typically more lightweight, making it easier to install and reducing strain on the roof structure.

Synthetic roofing shingles can be environmentally friendly depending on the manufacturer and materials used. Many synthetic shingles incorporate recycled material, such as mineral duct or cellulose fiber, reducing the demand for new raw materials. Additionally, the longevity of synthetic roofing can contribute to a reduction in waste compared to traditional roofing materials that may require more frequent replacement.

Yes, synthetic roofing shingles are versatile and suitable for both residential and commercial buildings. They come in a variety of styles including both traditional materials like Slate Tile or Cedar Shake, as well as non-conforming styles, allowing for customization to suit different architectural designs and preferences.

One of the benefits of synthetic roofing is its low maintenance requirements. Unlike some traditional roofing materials that may require regular inspections and repairs, synthetic shingles are designed to be durable and resistant to common issues such as cracking, warping, or rotting. Periodic inspections for debris buildup and cleaning may be recommended to ensure optimal performance and longevity.

While the upfront cost of synthetic roofing may be higher than some traditional materials, such as asphalt shingles, it's important to consider the long-term value. Synthetic roofing often lasts longer and requires less maintenance, potentially offsetting the initial investment over time. Additionally, factors such as energy efficiency and potential insurance discounts for impact-resistant materials can contribute to overall cost savings.
